Bubbles Policies

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

We ask that all cancellations or reschedules happen at least two hours before your appointment. Cancellations made with less than two hours’ notice will be considered a no-show.

How to cancel or reschedule:

  • Online: Visit our booking page, log in, and select your upcoming appointment to cancel or reschedule.
  • By phone: Call us at (506) 646-2822.

Clients who no-show will be required to prepay for their next appointment, and rebooking may be subject to approval.

This policy may change without notice. By booking, you agree to these terms.

By booking an appointment with Bubbles Haircare for Kids, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us provide timely service to all our little clients and their grown-ups. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Child Comfort & Safety Policy

Bubbles is a safe space for children, and we’re committed to making every visit positive, respectful, and empowering.

We do not perform haircuts while a child is being physically restrained against their will — whether by a parent, caregiver, or anyone else. Forced restraint can be distressing and traumatic, and it creates a serious safety hazard for the child, the adult, and our stylists. With sharp tools in use, everyone’s safety is our top concern.

Our team is trained to work patiently and thoughtfully with children, including those who are nervous, wiggly, or sensory-sensitive. We’re happy to pause, adapt, or reschedule an appointment as needed — and our stylists always reserve the right to decide what feels safe and appropriate for them.

Thank you for supporting our mission to provide a caring, inclusive environment where kids can feel confident, respected, and safe.

Lice Policy

At Bubbles Haircare for Kids, the health and comfort of all our clients is a top priority. To help prevent the spread of lice, we kindly ask that you reschedule your child’s appointment if they are currently experiencing a lice outbreak.

As part of our care process, our stylists perform a quick visual check for lice or nits before each haircut. If lice are discovered, we will need to immediately stop the service.

Should this happen, we’ll calmly and discreetly inform the parent or guardian, and begin a full sanitization of any tools, chairs, or surfaces that may have come into contact with the affected child.

While we understand this can be disappointing, we’re committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming space for all families. If needed, our team is happy to recommend trusted treatment options to help you resolve the issue at home.

We ask that families wait 7–10 days after completing lice treatment before booking another appointment, to help reduce the risk of re-infection and protect all of our guests. If you need guidance on lice treatment products, please ask any member of our staff.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Ear Piercing Policy

All piercings are performed by certified piercers experienced with children. We are a consent-first salon and will only proceed when the person being pierced gives a clear yes. Piercing appointments are for children 3 and up.

We use medical-grade, hypoallergenic instruments and individually sealed, sterile earrings from Inverness. If a package is opened but the piercing doesn’t go ahead, the earrings are yours to keep, but a fresh sterile pair ($40) will be required for any follow-up appointment.

If you’d like both ears pierced at the same time, request this at booking. A second piercer is subject to availability and a $20 fee applies.

Appointments are 30 minutes. If an appointment runs significantly over time, we may need to rebook. There is no charge for one follow-up appointment.

Every client leaves with aftercare instructions and a cleansing solution.

We ask that all guests treat our team and each other with kindness and patience. Pressuring a child to proceed will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to end an appointment or decline future bookings in cases of disrespectful behaviour.
